At the beginning of Chapter 1, your initial objective involves helping Low and Alone cross a wide gap by creating a bridge using their abilities. The method to achieve this varies depending on which character you control at the start of the chapter in Little Nightmares III.

Playing As Low

When controlling Low, you can form the bridge by using your bow. Aim at the button located across the gap and shoot it to activate the mechanism, which will extend the bridge. Once the bridge is formed, you can cross safely and proceed toward the next area.

Playing As Alone

If you begin the chapter as Alone, the process differs slightly. You will need to locate a Shoe nearby and use it to hit the button. Pick up the Shoe, aim carefully, and throw it at the button to trigger the bridge mechanism. This will allow both characters to move forward across the gap in Little Nightmares III.

Continuing Forward

After creating the bridge, continue moving right. This path will take you through a short section of sandy terrain and eventually to a Ladder. Climb the Ladder to reach the next area.

At the top, you will have an opportunity to use one of Alone’s abilities for the first time. Inside the tunnel, a rock wall blocks the way forward. When controlling alone, use the Wrench to break through the wall. It will take approximately three swings to clear the obstruction, allowing you to continue on the main path in Little Nightmares III.
