How to Find All Larval Tears in Shadow of the Erdtree

Here's how to find all Larval Tears in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.

With the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, Elden Ring a huge amount of content. There are tons of cool new weapons and gear to try out, and if you're anything like me, you'll want to experiment with different builds to see what suits your playstyle best. Luckily, the DLC gives us more larval tears, which let you respec your character's stats and try out all those awesome new options. In this guide, I'll show you where to find all larval tears are in The Realm of Shadow, so you can switch up your build as often as you like and make the most of everything this expansion has to offer.

Note: These items only appear at nighttime, so make sure to rest at a Site of Grace and wait until nightfall before starting your search.

The first larval tear can be found at the beginning of the game, just east of the first Site of Grace, Gravesite Plain. Head towards the ghost tombstones, and you'll find the item among them. This location is easy to access and should be one of the first places you visit.

Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, Larval Tear, Location, Map, Screenshot Next, travel to the Great Bridge, North Site of Grace. From here, head east to the glowing tombstones, and you’ll find the second larval tear in the middle of them. This spot is also straightforward to locate.

For the third larval tear, start from the Cliff Road Terminus Site of Grace. To get here, begin at the three path cross Site of Grace, head west, and follow the path south. The tear is located to the left of the ruins up ahead.

The fourth location is near the Pillar Path Waypoint Site of Grace. Cross the bridge to Castlefront Site of Grace, follow the road south, and turn east towards the giant tower in the sky. The blue tombstones should be visible if it’s nighttime.

The fifth larval tear requires defeating the first boss. From the Church of the Crusade, travel north from the Highroad Cross Site of Grace, then turn east towards the big cathedral. The stones glowing in the night will reveal the tear's location.

Nearby, the sixth larval tear is just east of the previous location. Mark the edge of the cliff on your map, head there, and you’ll find the gravestones and the item right at the edge.

For the seventh tear, start at the Moorth Ruins, east of Highroad Cross. Navigate the ruins, descend into the tunnel, and emerge in Bonny Village. Head east through the village, cross two bridges, and follow the road to the Church District High Road Site of Grace. From there, head west to find the gravestones.

The eighth location is near the Ancient Ruins base Site of Grace. From Moorth Ruins, head north through the poison path to reach the Ancient Ruins base. Travel southwest from here, past a giant enemy, and you’ll see the glowing tombstones by the cliff edge.

The final larval tear is the trickiest to find. From the previous location, head west to the Temple Town Ruins, then continue north along the waterway to the Ravine North Sign of Grace. Head northwest into the water, and you’ll find the gravestones and the last larval tear.
