Dota 2 | The International 2024 Compendium Guide

With just under two days left to start the Group Stage of TI13, you might be inclined to finally get the International 2024 Compendium. So, sit tight as we drive through the many [not so many] offerings of the International 2024 Compendium.

This year’s Compendium offers the usual list of rewards, split into 11 types that you can unlock by leveling up your compendium. This year, you also have access to boosters that increase the level of a specific reward type, but be careful; they are limited! So make sure to use them only on things that you really want. This year’s reward types include:

• Fantasy crafting tokens & bingo tokens
• Legacy chat wheels [and they’re permanent!]
• Team loading screens
• The International 2024 HUD
• Team logo stickers
• Player stickers
• Loading screens
• The International 2024 Loading Screens
• The International 2024 Teleport FX
• The International 2024 Versus Screen
• The International 2024 Effigy Block
• The International 2024 Collector’s Aegis

As you level up your International 2024 Compendium, you get closer to unlocking your rewards. Each reward requires a certain number of levels before you unlock them. And certain rewards are only unlockable a limited number of times. Boosters increase the level of a specific reward independent of other rewards. However, all of these rewards are exclusive to the International 2024 Compendium, and there are two versions of the Compendium to buy.

What are the two Compendiums you can buy?

The Standard

The Standard Compendium gives you 6 levels and 6 boosters and all the rewards unlocked by 6 levels; this includes:

- Aegis emoticon
- 51 Bingo tokens
- 36 Fantasy roll tokens
- 1 Player sticker capsule

The Upgraded Compendium

The Upgraded Compendium gives you 50 levels and 28 boosters, as well as all the rewards unlocked by 50 levels; these are:

• Accelerated Rewards
• Aegis Emoticon
• 93 Bingo Tokens
• 78 Fantasy Roll Tokens
• 12 Player Sticker Capsules
• 5 Team Sticker Capsules
• 4 Team Loading Screen Treasures
• 3 TI Loading Screen Treasures
• 2 TI 2024 Effigy Blocks
• Level 1 TI 2024 Teleport FX

How to get points in the International 2024 Compendium?

Firstly, you earn points by completing weekly challenges, and for your first win of the day, make sure to play every day to maximize your rewards! Additionally, Oracle’s Challenge, Dota Fantasy, and Bingo are sources of earning points. Finally, you can just buy more points to level yourself up.

Prize Pool

As always, by buying the International 2024 Compendium, you support the International as 25% of the earnings go to the prize pool for the tournament.

The Dota Fantasy

This year’s compendium, like the last one, gives you access to the Dota Fantasy, where you get to pick your favorite or the best [usually they’re both] players in the 3 roles mentioned. These three roles are core, mid, and support. You should wait until the groups are announced, as that might heavily affect your players' performance. Your best option is picking hard carries for core roles and hard supports for the support role.

With the Internation 2024 Compendium’s Fantasy, you can pick titles and emblems for your chosen player. Both of these give you increased points depending on their playstyle, and they also have differing rarities. So, you don’t want titles that give bonuses to farming for a player like Topson, who runs around all the time.
Rerolls let you change any undesirable titles or emblems, but remember, it changes all of them. So, sometimes, it is better to retain a bad emblem because there’s another really good one.
Note: Changing players does not cost tokens but does not change emblems and titles designated to the role.
