Dota 2 Frostivus 2024 Guide

Dota 2’s Frostivus event is one of their most celebrated recurring things that almost everyone appreciates at this time of year. In this iteration of the Frostivus Event, you can redeem ‘festive infusions’ that you accumulate by playing. Titled the ‘Festive Forge,’ you use those festive infusions to get the usual rewards, ranging from sprays and voice lines.

Frostivus Forge Rewards

The Forge offers 5-tiers of rewards, each having two options. You need to redeem either option a certain number of times before unlocking the next tier, and naturally, the higher the tier, the better the rewards will be.

These rewards range from chatwheel sounds to a new courier and so on. The third tier gives you a courier and a new skin for the tormentors. The fourth tier is useful if you still have incomplete parts of your Crown Fall event since that tier gives you the ability to get Crownfall tokens. 

The tiers afterward contain a legacy tier where you can get the 2023 Frostivus Treasure or, if you have any of the Crownfall Pathfinders unlocked, a Crownfall tier that lets you get coins and a sticker. You shouldn’t expect to get skins or anything more than that, though.

Frostivus Forge Infusions

There are four festive infusions you can get; these infusions stack infinitely, and you can safely get a lot of them in a single match. Here are all the ways you can quickly get the infusions.

Crystallised Joy

This one is straightforward; winning a match gives you 30, so you’ll be able to easily get them as long as you keep winning matches. Killing Couriers also give you 4, and finally, bounty runes give you one. The latter two make it seem better for positions 4&5 and since they’ll be doing all the rotating and collecting bounty runes.

Essence of Friendship

This one is also relatively easy: either play at a party, which gives you 10 of these for each match you play or play as a support healer like Witch Doctor or Treant. Although the heals give you a very minute amount, it adds up throughout the game. Assists, high-fiving enemies, or high-fiving allies after getting a kill, will also give you these.

Concentrated Whimsy

This one is more oriented for Carry players. You deal damage and get kills to get these. Alternatively, stealing hats will also get you the most.

Festive Spirit

This one is also one of the easier ones to get. Always build a snowman before the timer reaches 0, and get yourself on a ledge, then place a penguin. It will bump against you and the ledge really quickly, giving you a lot of points for these. You can also just play with a friend and tip them while they also tip you.

Frostivus 2024 End Date

You have until January 15, 2025, to get everything, plenty of time, all things considered. You also have a 20% discount on the Pathfinder packs and Arcana skins from Crownfall.
