Monster Hunter World The Final Stand Update Brings Back Fatalis, New Halloween Event Confirmed

Today, Capcom confirmed "The Final Stand" update for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, bringing back an old Elder Dragon. With Fatalis coming to the game this October 1st.

Fatalis is be fought in Castle Schrade with crossbows and cannons available to aid Hunters in the fight. Fatalis is a fearsome foe and the developers were direct in explaining this fight will be challenging. Those who conquer the dragon will be rewarded with legendary resources to craft new weapons and gear. With the Palicoes armor featuring a Hunter weapon.

New updates will be added to the game as well. With all layered armor sets becoming available to craft, any weapon will drop slinger ammo with 1 attack when using the claw, and lots of pendants and decorations.

Old events will make a return along with a new Halloween event with unique skins and unlocks.

It's unclear what Capcom plans for the future of Monster Hunter. Either a new game or new expansion would be great. The franchise has hit a new high as millions of new fans have experienced the wonderful world of Monster Hunter. With Monster Hunter World and Iceborne being one of the best examples of a live service title done right.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is now available for PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
