Microsoft Xbox Reveals the Barbie Version of Xbox Series X: 'The Dreamhouse'

Movies always need to have the best marketing strategy to reach every audience. This way people can give a chance to the movie that is being advertised all the time. Some other media, such as games and music, can include little snippets from the movie or have themed after the movie as well. This time around, Xbox has taken the responsibility to let people know about the upcoming Barbie movie by having a chance of actually winning a Barbie-themed Xbox Series X.

There is currently a big clash going on between the Barbie movie and Oppenheimer, as they are going to be released on the same day. While Oppenheimer does not get a custom-made console for himself for the upcoming movie, Barbie is getting one from Xbox, called The Dreamhouse, and there is one lucky winner who will lay their hands on it. In order to win the big prize, people can join the raffle through Xbox’s official Twitter account or Microsoft Rewards.

The raffle will start on the 10th of July, and surprisingly it will not only future the console called The Dreamhouse as a prize. There are also custom faceplates for controllers as well. While the possibility of actually buying The Dreamhouse is unlikely, it is not known if the four different faceplates are to be purchasable.

 

Prizes do not stop there, the raffle participants can also win a prize a Barbie or a Ken doll with custom-tailored Xbox apparel on them too. They are claimed to be “in line” with regular Barbie dolls, therefore their apparel and clothes will not look out of place if you are an avid fan of collecting Barbie dolls!

Lastly, to give homage to vehicles of both Barbie and Ken, Forza Horizon 5 will feature their cars from today. Chevrolet Corvette C1, Barbie’s car, and a Hummer EV Pickup, Ken’s car, are currently available to everyone who logs into the Forza Horizon 5’s online services. Talking about Forza Horizon 5, Microsoft is also planning to raffle winners to take into an in-house tour and meeting with the developers of Forza Horizon too.

Barbie Movie will be released internationally on the 19th of July this year, and on the 21st on the US market.
