Platinum Games and Nintendo shocked audiences when they announced Bayonetta 3 for the Nintendo Switch. Not only that but Nintendo also confirmed that both Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 would come to the Nintendo Switch. Now Nintendo has released more information on the upcoming updates.
Bayonetta 2 will feature compatibility with amiibo figures to unlock new costumes and weapons, with everything from the Wii U version being brought over. Players can unlock everything by playing the game without using amiibos.
In addition, Bayonetta 2 will support local multiplayer and online mode available on the Wii U. Local multiplayer will require both players to own a copy of the game.
Bayonetta 2 launches for Nintendo Switch on February 16th.
