The Infinity Blade series has come to an end with Epic games ceasing sales of the iOS game today. All three games have been removed from the store but those who downloaded the game can still do so.

Epic Games made the announcement about the discontinuation on their official site, stating the removal of the games was due to the team being spread too thin between PC and mobile development. Currently, the studio has other projects in the work such as Spyjinx.

The three Infinity Blade games are no longer available for purchase as of today, 12/10/18. This groundbreaking trilogy took mobile gaming to new heights and pushed Epic Games in new, innovative directions. Along with the three Infinity Blade games, all in-app purchase options have been removed. Current owners will continue to be able to play these games, and download* them to their devices from an account that owns them, for the foreseeable future.

Global Creative Director, Donald Mustard explains that the series would remain a great part of Epic Games' history. For the next month, Infinity Blade III will get special items, Clash Mobs, and other "surprises" but in-app purchases have been removed. Epic also teased a Fortnite reveal involving Infinity Blade, likely a special skin or event surrounding the popular mobile title.
