EA and Google Partner for 5 Games Launching on Stadia
Stadia getting 5 new games from publisher EA
News by Grayshadow on Apr 28, 2020
Stadia has not been the most appealing system, especially when compared to modern gaming platforms. Stadia is hoping to attract new customers by partnering with EA for 5 game releases.
Stadia will start selling Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order along with FIFA and Madden by the end of the year. With more games coming this 2021 according to Business Wire.
"We’re thrilled to see some of Electronic Arts’ biggest hits come to the Stadia. I can't wait to play EA SPORTS FIFA, Madden NFL, and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on my favorite screens instantly with the simple click of a button," said Phil Harrison, GM and VP at Google.
The issue with this is that the announced titles are either older games or titles that gamers can get on other platforms. Judging from Stadia's past it's likely these games will be more expensive than the competition.
