Gone Home No Longer Coming to Consoles

Fullbright revealed some disappointing news for console gamers looking to play the Indie hit Gone Home. Unfortunately the game is no longer coming to consoles due to financial issues.

The first-person exploration title that was released on PC in 2013 with a console port planned for 2014. Now those plans been aborted because the studio no longer has a publishing deal with its original publisher Majesco due to financial difficulties that the publisher has been facing. The studio will instead focus its attention on their next game, a space exploration title called Tacoma that is slated for 2016.

Gone Home was originally suppose to launch on consoles by the end of 2014, with Wii U being one of the launch systems.

Gone Home is a first-person interactive story adventure game developed and published by Fullbright. Set in 1995 the plot focuses on exploring a mansion in Portland, Oregon and examining common household objects to uncovering the story.
