In 2016, the gaming market was shaken by the battle-royale genre, a multiplayer First-Person Shooter/Third-Person Shooter that made you fight against 99 people all by yourself, or with a friend group, on an enormous map. One of the genre's founders, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, still has been going on strong with regular updates and player feedback. One most-requested addition was adding meaning to the clan system. It seems like the developers have just added the Clan Progression System with the upcoming 23.2 version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
To explain simply, the player can start up a clan by clicking the button on the main menu. The clan they have created can allow up to 100 players, and they choose certain players to be “clan masters” and “moderators” in order to keep things in check. In addition, clan members can chat, search, and receive notifications through the clan's hub, making news and communication between members easier to follow. Not only that, clans have their own way of progression, too; they can race against other clans in the wild, so fights will be important between rival players.
In order to award the clans that are doing well, PUBG will allow every player who is in the clan to earn double EXP while playing and give them a %30BP bonus after a match. So, there is a big incentive to get on top of the leaderboard. Incoming interest and feedback would also allow Krafton, the game’s developer, to test the water to see how clans affect the overall gameplay. They have recently hit their record sales number with 407 million worth of sales and experiencing a big flow of newcomers to PUBG. Still, they have to watch out for their competitors, such as Apex Legends and Fortnite, if they want to keep themselves in the market.,
