Sony Offering Early PS5 Pre-Order Registration For PlayStation Users

Looks like Sony is offering a way for PlayStation users to gain access to a PS5 pre-order early. With a registration site now open.

On this site, PlayStation users can input their PSN username for the chance to pre-order a PS5. This does not guarantee a pre-order but it's a great idea to reward loyal users with the chance to pre-order a PS5. It also will likely cut down on resellers who are actively planning to get multiple consoles and sell them are marked-up prices. We saw this with the launch of the PS4 and recently with the Nintendo Switch. Where resellers were buying Switch consoles and selling them for about 200% their original price.
