Super Mario Maker 2 Legendary Update Adds Tons of New Items this December 5th

Nintendo is providing an early Christmas present to all Super Mario Maker 2 players. With the Legendary Update giving hundreds of new items including some featured in The Legend of Zelda.

The entire list of highlighted inclusions are as follow:

Spike

Can Shoot Spike Balls for Enemy Encounters or Platforming Challenges

Throws Snow Balls in Snow Levels

Pokey

Spiked Enemy when Touch

Can Fly in Night and Track Players with Wings

Turns into a Snowman in Snow Levels and drops Snow Balls

Frozen Coins

Trapped in Frozen Blocks and thawed out using Fire

P-Blocks

Use switches to temporality make them solid

Dash Block

Allows Mario to reach Top Speed with Ease

Master Sword

Mario can transform into Link complete with Unique animations

Mario Can dash thrust, use the plunging attack, bow and arrow, bombs, and other iconic Link attacks.

Ninja Speedrun

Unique courses created by Nintendo with Time Trial Ghosts from other Active Players

Provides Unique Mii Costumes for completing

Gold Stars provided for a limited time for players who reach the top ranks

Super Mario Maker 2 is now available for Nintendo Switch.
