The Surge's Free Cutting Edge Pack Adds New Armor And Weapons

Sci-fi Action RPG The Surge received its latest free DLC yesterday in the form of the Cutting Edge Pack. Players are now able to get their hands on CREO's most advanced prototypes, provided they can overcome the six new foes in in Abandoned Production, Management, and Core. There are three new armors, which grant boons when worn in entirety, three new weapons and three new jumpsuits to look out for.

For a taste of what's been added, the ANGEL armor offers faster attack speeds, better energy gain and harder impacts on CODENAME weapons, while the Experiment 44H weapon, uses a containment field to wreak havoc on enemies. If you still haven't picked up the game, The Surge and all its DLC is on sale for up to 75% off on Steam, PlayStation Europe and Xbox One. A sequel is also slated for a 2019 release.
