Ubisoft Has 11 Assassin's Creed Titles Under Development
Ubisoft has a whooping fifty games in the pipeline and eleven Assassin's Creed titles under development.

Ubisoft is facing major financial and operational challenges as revenues decline, key game launches such as Star Wars Outlaws underperform, and revised fiscal guidance for 2025 shows €1.95 billion in net bookings, compared with €2.32 billion a year earlier.
The company has moved to cut costs, including slashing its workforce by more than 10% since 2022, while its share prices have fallen to decade lows. Amid these challenges, Ubisoft delayed major releases, such as Assassin's Creed Shadows, reportedly weighing a buyout from Tencent Holdings and the Guillemot family to steady operations and claw back value.
It’s been reported that Ubisoft has roughly fifty titles under development that should be revealed. The Black Flag Remake is already known about. If the project Stardust isn't the Assassin's Creed Remake, though, we would be surprised. Assassin's Creed Jade was meant to emerge in 2023, but obviously, that did not even occur until just now. Although Assassin's Creed Shadows' release date has been twice postponed, we are definitely receiving Jade this year.
We already know about Codename Hexe, which will most likely appear in late 2026. Next is the multiplayer game VICTUS, which draws on Fall Guys. Nexus VR did not sell well, and Nexus 2 is also on the list, and they are debating it internally. So, that will not happen anytime soon. Obviously, the Black Flag Remake is in progress. Originally conceived as Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Skull & Bones's proposal is said to be ahead of schedule, and whispers swirl about the game's possible early arrival.
Though Ubisoft has not yet released any public statements, we feel it is in progress. Given Ubisoft's large plan to release a lot of Assassin's Creed material over the next four years, including Assassin's Creed Shadows and AC multiplayer project, Invictus, there has been general supposition that it may come out as early as late 2025 or early 2026. AC Code Nebula seems to be the single-player game we are looking at here. Ubisoft Sophia is currently working on Code Nebula, who co-developed Assassin's Creed III: Liberation, Assassin's Creed Rogue, Origins: The Curse of The Pharaohs DLC, and Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarök DLC.
There’s also The Division 3 and the Rayman Remake. Though it is still far off, Beyond Good and Evil 2 seems to be developing nicely. We should not expect this before 2026, and it is not surprising. Rainbow Six and Assassin's Creed are essentially the only projects from which Ubisoft is still making money. Perhaps Just Dance is hanging in there, and For Honor is said to be making a profit, but when it comes to actual money, we mean significant income.
While Ubisoft is well on its way to addressing its financial challenges, the short-term outlook remains uncertain. Key factors to consider include the performance of upcoming titles such as Assassin's Creed Shadows and its ability to navigate industry trends effectively. We’ve been wondering about these titles, while Ubisoft now has eleven Assassin's Creed titles under development. That is a lot to process. Given that the company has its 20th anniversary in 2027, it seems like the ideal moment to give it the appropriate remake treatment it truly needs.
