Ubisoft Looking to Release Their AAA Games on Mobile Platforms

The mobile market is one of the most profitable platforms for video games and Ubisoft is planning to release their AAA games on mobile devices through streaming or natively.

During a financial call for the fiscal year, Ubisoft's CEO Yives Guillemot spoke how the mobile market and technology has been advancing. With increased power and streaming technology the publisher plans to release their AAA games on mobile devices and are actively working on this.

No details have been provided or what franchises may make the leap onto mobile platforms.

In the same financial call, Ubisoft confirmed that Skull and Bones will be pushed back to the next fiscal year.
