Ubisoft just released Assassin's Creed Shadows' official summer content roadmap. It's full of long-awaited features, improvements to the game's quality of life, and new story material. This round of updates has something for everyone, whether you're a seasoned shinobi or just finishing your first game. It starts very soon.
Apart from everything circulating about the Assassin's Creed: Codename Hexe and Black Flag Remake, a mysterious new project called "Project 3" is coming out as part of this wave, but Ubisoft has not yet revealed what it is. Ubisoft is releasing another major update in August that will make the game play better generally.

As for Assassin's Creed Shadows, the feature that people have asked for the most is finally coming out: New Game+ on July 29, 2025. You can now start the story over after finishing the main mission. Your character's level, gear, hideout upgrades, and skill points will all be saved. Story tasks, goals, and side activities will start over, giving you a fresh look at the story with all the tools you need.
As a bonus, Ubisoft is raising the level cap from 60 to 80. This will give players more room to level up and gain more advanced skills. There will also be a new wave of Animus collectibles, which will add to the story and make the journey more fun.
First, players will finally be able to clear the whole map of fog once all views are in sync, which is a change that fans have been asking for months. PC players can now enjoy higher frame rates during cutscenes, making the changes smoother and the visuals more in line with the gameplay. The PC community has been complaining about this for a while, and now that it's fixed, Shadows is more or less technically equal across all systems.
Ubisoft will also hold an AMA on Reddit with the development team on August 12. This will give the community a direct way to give feedback, make ideas, or complain. Whether you want more stealth choices, better AI, or more exploration tools, this is your chance to be heard.
Note this on your calendar: The Claws of Awaji, the first add-on for Assassin's Creed Shadows, will come out on September 16, 2025. The DLC offers a new story arc, new gear with rare items, and finally, the freedom to change the time of day whenever you want. This feature gives explorers and assassins alike a better sense of realism, whether they like to raid in the misty dawn or sneak up on targets at night.

Ubisoft listened to what players had to say because this addition makes the game play better and the story more interesting. All of this news comes at the same time that Ubisoft makes a big step forward for the game: Since it came out, Assassin's Creed Shadows has had more than 5 million players.
That's pretty good for a single-player RPG, especially considering that some of Ubisoft's other big titles, like Rainbow Six Siege, have had a tough year. Shadows is making a strong name for itself in the Assassin's Creed series with a clear plan, regular updates, and a strong community of players.
