Nintendo Switch 2 owners may soon be able to enjoy another big game from a third party. A short-lived web store listing hinted at the release of a Watch Dogs collection, which could include all three of Ubisoft's hacking-themed open-world games for the new handheld console. Even though the item was taken down almost right away, it has already sparked a lot of talk about whether an official reveal is coming soon.

The leaked product page showed a bundle that included Watch Dogs, Watch Dogs 2, and Watch Dogs: Legion. The bundle hasn't been released by Ubisoft, and the listing was taken down before it could be confirmed officially. People who liked it are still interested in how quickly it was taken down, as many think it may have gone live earlier than planned.

Watch Dogs Collection Heading to Nintendo Switch 2

It looked like the collection would also be available as a game key card. Given how big all three games are together, that wouldn't be a surprise. Instead of putting everything on a disk, Nintendo's Game Key Card system lets players download the game data after buying it. This makes it a good choice for bigger new games.

If the collection were real, it would be the first time on a Nintendo system that you could get all three Watch Dogs games in one package.

Over the years, the series has made its own style by combining traditional open-world travel with hacking features that let players change traffic systems, security cameras, electronics, and even enemy gear. Instead of just shooting things or moving, the games use technology to help people think of new ways to solve problems.

It's been an interesting ride for the franchise. The original Watch Dogs got a lot of attention before it came out because of how ambitiously it was shown off. However, it was criticized for not fully matching the early visuals. Ubisoft continued to develop the concept even if it started off rough.

The setting in Watch Dogs 2 was more vibrant and hacking options were expanded. Watch Dogs: Legion took this idea a step further by allowing players to recruit just about anyone they came across in future London.

Although sales of the series have been hit and miss over the years, it remains one of Ubisoft's most popular modern series. Putting all three games together may be a good way to get new people interested in the series and give longtime fans another reason to check out its unique take on the open-world genre.

Watch Dogs Collection Retail Leak

The story also makes me curious if Ubisoft will support the Nintendo Switch 2. The company is already interested in the platform, and this collection could add a recognizable brand to its line-up while also satisfying the need for more big-scale open-world games on the system. But for now, it’s important to remember that the collection hasn’t been released yet.

This is more likely a leak than a confirmed release until Ubisoft says otherwise. Store listings have shown many games before they were supposed to, but this one has really caught people’s attention. The leak has put Watch Dogs back in the spotlight, whether it comes out next week or later this year. Could this be one of the next big Nintendo Switch 2 news? That is the only question now.
