World War Z: Aftermath Coming 2021, New Episodes and More
WWZ is getting more content
News by Grayshadow on Jun 12, 2021
World War Z was a surprising hit that gave Left 4 Dead something to fill the hole that Valve left behind. With a great cooperative system and a standard multiplayer mode, WWZ was a smash hit. Now more content is on the way with World War Z: Aftermath for 2021.
This update will include new episode across Rome, Vatican City, and Russia with new characters, a new combat system, weapons, and a first-person mode.
World War Z: Aftermath is the ultimate co-op zombie shooter based on Paramount Pictures’ blockbuster film, and the next evolution of the original hit World War Z that has now captivated over 15 million players. Turn the tide of the zombie apocalypse across consoles and PC with full cross-play. Join up to three friends or play on your own with AI teammates against hordes of ravenous zombies in intense story episodes across new zombie-ravaged locations around the world: Rome, Vatican City and Russia’s Kamchatka peninsula.
The title will support 4K 60FPS on next-gen hardware and PC. It hasn't been made clear if this version will continue progression from the original game.
War World Z Aftermath is now in development.
