Absolum Guide | Brome Inspiration Tier List
A guide on Brome's Inspiration in Absolum.

Brome is a character in Absolum who loves keeping things moving by using Skill and Arcana in the right way. Knowing which Inspirations to focus on can help you get the most out of your Mana, power, and battle flow. This guide goes over all of Brome's Inspirations and explains how they change the way you play and how to best use them during your runs.

Drill Rush (S Tier)
When you acquire Drill Rush, your Skill gains a running attack that benefits from any Rituals you’ve equipped. It strikes several enemies in its path, dealing significant damage while giving you better control over your movement. It is a dependable Inspiration that fits naturally into many playstyles. You can easily shape your build around it once it appears in your run.
Battle Rage (S Tier)
Battle Rage focuses on Mana generation. It increases the amount of Mana you gain, allowing you to cast your Arcana more frequently. This frequent usage helps maintain your combo counter, which in turn generates even more Mana. As a result, you can rely on your Arcana more often and maintain a strong combat rhythm throughout each encounter.
Resonance Field (S Tier)
After you use your Skill, Resonance Field gives you 20% more Arcana damage. This effect can be stacked up to ten times, doing 200% more damage each time. To get the most out of it, you should slightly change the way you fight so that your Skill hits before each Arcana cast. It also works well with other Inspirations that improve the way you switch between skills and arcana, which increases your total harmony.

Arcana Overload (A Tier)
The value of Arcana Overload depends largely on the Arcana you have equipped. It causes your Arcana to consume double the Mana but deal triple the damage. Although it may seem costly, this exchange can be very efficient if you manage your Mana carefully. You can also trigger it by casting with only a single Mana segment filled, which lets you continue using your Arcana without major restrictions.
Infused Staff (B Tier)
Infused Staff encourages the use of ground strikes by converting them into energy blasts. However, these blasts grow stronger based on the amount of unspent Mana you have. Since Brome typically uses his Mana frequently to power his Arcana, this Inspiration doesn’t reach its full potential. It may find more use on other characters, but for Brome, it’s not a high priority.
Projectile Dispel (C Tier)
With Projectile Dispel, your character can return enemy projectiles when performing a Clash. While it’s rewarding when timed correctly, it depends on frequent Clashing to stay effective. Because you can’t rely on consistent Clash opportunities in every battle, this Inspiration is more situational and not a strong early pick.

Telekinesis (C Tier)
Telekinesis can be paired with specific Bramble Rituals to create a distinct playstyle centered on Throwables. However, since Brome lacks any mechanics that help generate more Throwables, this Inspiration ends up being limited in practice. It can be interesting in certain setups, but its impact remains small compared to others.
Controlled Grab (C Tier)
Controlled Grab allows you to reposition after performing a grab, and the follow-up slam deals solid damage. Despite this, it doesn’t contribute anything significant to Brome’s main strategy. Since Brome benefits more from actions that generate Mana and trigger Arcana, grabs aren’t a priority. Other Inspirations tend to provide more consistent benefits.
Mana Burst (D Tier)
Mana Burst adds a charged attack that can deliver strong results if timed correctly. However, charging it requires standing still, which can leave you open in combat. The Inspiration looks impressive but rarely fits into fast-paced fights where movement and reaction are key. Because of this, it is often outperformed by more practical options.

Channelling (D Tier)
Channeling works a lot like Mana Burst, but it takes even longer to charge. It slows down the flow of battle and makes it harder to react quickly to threats. You can use it to make your strikes stronger, but to keep up pressure and movement, you're better off focused on throwing arcana often.
