A guide on Cider's Inspiration in Absolum.

In Absolum, Cider is known for being able to move quickly and fight from the air. Her Inspirations give you different ways to control space, extend combos, and handle resources, which can have a big effect on how you handle each fight. Figuring out how each Inspiration works with Cider's skills will help you pick the best setting for the way you like to play.

Pneumatic Heels (S Tier)

With Pneumatic Heels, you gain two extra Dashes along with access to an Aerial Dash. This Inspiration supports any build but is especially effective in air-based combat. It provides consistent evasion, making it easier to reposition or escape attacks. When combined with other dash-oriented Inspirations or Rituals, it allows you to maintain continuous movement while keeping enemies under pressure.

Vortex Grip (S Tier)

The Grab move that Cider already has is good at closing gaps, but Vortex Grip makes it even better. It makes controlling crowds easier and does more damage. When fighting a lot of enemies, you need to be careful about time and positioning, but when you do it right, it can help you break up groups and turn the tide of battle in your favor.

Slice and Dice (A Tier)

Slice and Dice changes your defensive actions into offensive ones. It rewards proper positioning, as you can deal bonus damage from behind enemies. The Inspiration becomes easier to manage when paired with a co-op partner or Pneumatic Heels, which helps you get into position quickly. It also supports Dash-based Rituals, giving your movement more offensive potential.

Turbo Rotor (A Tier)

Turbo Rotor may not seem impactful at first, but its benefits become clear as you continue playing. It helps maintain longer combos and keeps enemies caught in them for extended periods. This leads to steady damage output and smoother combat flow, making it a reliable addition to most builds.

Throwable Replicator (B Tier)

Throwable Replicator enables Cider to take full advantage of Throwable-based builds. When paired with Rituals that restore Throwables, such as those providing Thorn Daggers, this Inspiration can create a continuous cycle of ranged attacks. It works best when your strategy revolves around keeping enemies at a distance with constant projectile pressure.

Recycle (B Tier)

How well Recycle works depends on what Arcana you choose first. It gives you a lot of power back when used with gadget-type Arcana, which lets you chain skills together well. It really works well with Shredder Arcana. If you choose a normal Arcana, on the other hand, Recycle has no effect and takes up a place that could be used for a more stable card.

Magnetic Jump (C Tier)

Magnetic Jump adds a new special move and the ability to jump over walls. These traits can be helpful in some situations, but because they depend on the situation, they don't have much of an effect generally. Most stages don't have many walls that are good for this Inspiration, so its full potential isn't used. It can still help you avoid enemies near the edges of the screen, but it doesn't always shine.

Gyro Drop (C Tier)

You can choose where you drop with Gyro Drop, which can help you hit groups of enemies. But you have to practice using it, and it's easy to forget about it during heated fights. When used on purpose, it gives you power over where to attack enemies after moving in the air, but it's not immediately useful when things are moving quickly.

Critical Toolbox (D Tier)

Critical Toolbox seems strong in theory, but it doesn't really do much by itself. It often makes Throwables that go off, which can be more dangerous than helpful in close battle. To use it, you need to build around throwables and raise your Luck. Also, in that case, a single Ritual can often take its place, so it's not always the best choice.

Cashback (D Tier)

The fact that you can throw coins in Cashback is funny, but it's not very useful. Even though it works in setups that focus on Throwables, it's not as good as other Inspirations and Rituals that do the same thing better. After the excitement goes off, it's just a low-impact choice that's best saved for test runs.
