When you arrive at your very first port in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, you will get a quest to find a Find Gold Locket.

Here is how to find the Gold Locket item, track down the lost husband, and claim your reward in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.

Starting Gold Locket Event

Head into Havana Town to begin. This is the first settlement you will come across on your journey. Walk right into the main town area and look for a distressed woman who will be standing near the entrance. She is in the exact same spot, so you cannot miss her.

Speak with her to start the conversation. She tells you her husband went out with the Spanish treasure fleet and never came back.

She mentions a massive storm hit near Florida and offers to pay you for any concrete news as to his whereabouts. She also notes that her husband always wears a distinct Gold Locket around his neck. Accept the quest to add the objective to your log.

Finding the Shipwreck in Florida

Your search takes you north. Open your map and look directly north of Havana Town until you spot Florida. The destination is a small island surrounded by shallow water and broken ship hulls.

When you get to the island, look for a giant rock formation that protrudes from the water. Follow these instructions to get the treasure in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.

Sail or walk around the side of the giant rock. Look along the shoreline to find a skeleton resting in a strange, twisted pose. This is the sad remains of the husband. Turn to face the open water from the skeleton. Jump into the ocean and get under the water.

Explore the Underwater Cave

Dive down and find the entrance to an underwater cavern. Follow the path through the Underwater Cave.

There is one Treasure Chest at the back of the cave. Open the box and take out the Gold Locket.

Claim Your Reward

Once the item has been safely stored in your inventory, return to your ship and make your way back to Havana Town. Find the wife at her usual location and talk to her to give her the grim news in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.

Handing over the Gold Locket provides her with closure. She will thank you for bringing her peace and give you your payout, successfully completing the local event.
