Choosing the right accessories can be a great help in boosting your survival odds during challenging encounters and the Guardian Beast legendary trinket is without a doubt one of the best passive gear items in the game.

It provides automatic health regeneration when you are not actively engaged in combat, thus saving you from the need to take frequent rests or use healing items.

To get the Guardian Beast Trinket, you have to activate a certain local event in Havana Guardian Beast legendary trinket in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced and then follow an unmarked map to a sunken wreck. Here's how to complete the quest and claim your reward in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.

Prerequisite: Unlock Great Inagua First

Before you can start searching for the trinket, you must meet a specific story prerequisite. The local event will not trigger until you have acquired your private hideout and personal manor on Great Inagua.

If you have not reached this point in the main story yet, progress through the campaign until the island manor is officially unlocked, then return to Havana.

Step 1: Complete Smelly Sailors Event in Havana

Fast-travel to Havana and head toward the southern viewpoint located atop the large church. Walk directly behind the church building and head straight down to the wooden pier along the water.

You can safely ignore the small groups of townspeople chatting in the streets along the way in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.

Look for a group of sailors standing around spoiled fruit covered in buzzing flies. Walk over and interact with the map resting on the pier right beside them to initiate the search.

Examining the item reveals a crude map showing Havana, Dry Tortuga, and an uncharted island lying somewhere in between.

Step 2: Swim to the Uncharted Island Wreck

The map points toward an unmarked island located northeast of Havana. Sail the Jackdaw into the open sea toward the target area.

Because the island is completely uncharted, there will be no prompt to dock your ship along the shore.

Drop anchor in the nearby open waters, jump overboard, and swim to the massive rotting wooden shipwreck that sits right in the middle of the island in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.

Step 3: Dive for the Sunken Chests

When you get to the wreckage, look into the water around the broken structure for a floating rotten fruit. This indicates where to dive. Dive underneath the wreck and you’ll find two spots where you can find chests.

The first chest is located near the submerged hull structure. Interacting with this chest unlocks the Guardian Beast legendary trinket. The second chest rests a short distance away underwater and contains extra Reales.

Once you loot the first chest and collect the trinket, the local event automatically completes. Open your equipment inventory to equip the item and activate out-of-combat health recovery immediately in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.
