Utara Crystals are important collectibles in Dave the Diver: In the Jungle because they help Dr. Bacon unlock more research options at his laboratory. The quest begins after you progress through the early Utara Village story and speak with Dr. Bacon at the camp. He shows you the glowing crystal and asks you to find the remaining crystals around the village and the lake.

Check Utara Village First

Start in Utara Village before diving. The crystals are small, bright, and easy to miss, but a blue diamond marker appears when you get close. Search the lower beach area near the dead whale, then move back toward Bancho Grill and the central village plants. Another crystal can be found toward the northwestern side of the village, around the houses, bamboo, and the red truck area.

Move slowly through bushes and rocks instead of sprinting past them. Many crystal spots are tucked just behind scenery, so the interaction prompt may appear before the crystal is obvious.

Search the Upper Area of Utara Lake

After clearing the village spots, dive into Utara Lake and stay in the upper section first. Look along the left side of the lake, then sweep the central upper path and small wall openings. The lake layout can shift between dives, so use the blue marker as the main clue rather than expecting every rock wall to look exactly the same.

Bring enough filter capacity to search safely. If sulfur water drains the filter too quickly, upgrade the Purification Filter before forcing the route.

Grab the Crystal Near the Black Caiman

One of the more dangerous Utara Crystal spots is on the right side of the lake near the Black Caiman area. Approach carefully, wait for a safe opening, and collect the crystal quickly.
