Dragon Age: The Veilguard Guide | Fen’Harel Alter Locations

Fen'Harel Altars are the wolf statue puzzles scattered across Dragon Age: The Veilguard. They are optionally available, though it may be worth it to find them since every found altar gives you one extra skill point.

Each Fen'Harel Altar does include a small puzzle to solve to get the reward, though. The following guide will take you through the locations of all Fen'Harel Altars and solutions for each of the puzzles.

This guide covers all the locations of all five Fen’Harel altar statues in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Here's how you can find them.

Converged City 1

Starting with the Converged City area in The Crossroads. Here, you’ll find the first two statues. For the first statue, enter the city. It's very easy to find; go down the main street, and you'll see it on your left at a broken archway.

Converged City 2

While staying in Converged City, we will look for the second statue. This one is a bit trickier. You'll have to unlock the Sealed Path gate of the Lost Ages by defeating the level 20 Champion guarding the way in. Clean out the enemies, and then you'll arrive at an area with a crystal puzzle. You solve it and head up the ladder to the next platform. You'll have the statue on your right.

Athim Heights 3

The next two statues are in the Heights of Athim. From the first, head to the right and activate the Disrupt and Conquer quest, which is one of Solara's memory quests. Once completed, get on the lift and head down. From the lower level, you should see the third Fen'Harel statue just next to the cliff's edge. You can then take the zip line down toward your next objective.

Heights of Athim 4

After you have been taken to the lower area in the Heights of Athim, look for the fourth one. This area gives decent loot if you are into clearing the enemies, but if the statue is only what you want, you can skip them. You will go straight through into the open path and find the other Fen'Harel statue sitting near the ruined gate.

Elvenan Haven 5

 

The fifth and last statue is in Elvenan Haven. In order to get there, one has to progress through the quest Gate of Faded Glories, defeat a level 25 Champion, and then pass through the unlocked gate past some heavy long-range attacks and ambushes from enemies. Soon after breaking through, there are some statues that have to be rotated to create bridges. Cross over and take a short hike up to the very far end, where the final Fen'Harel statue is sitting.
