Using Kazing

You can revive a party member by casting Kazing. The Prince of Cannock learns this spell at level 25. If he has not reached this level or is down, you must use an alternative method. Once the spell is available, you can use it anytime to bring a fallen member back in Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake.

Reviving at a Church

You can also go to a church and speak with the Priest. Choose the Resurrection option to bring a fallen member back. The cost is 5 gold multiplied by the character’s level. As characters gain levels, this cost will increase, so you may need to keep track of your gold.

Using a Yggdrasil Leaf

You can use a Yggdrasil Leaf to revive one party member. You can hold only one leaf at a time, and you can find it on an island east of Burrowell.

Use this item during important moments, such as boss encounters. Many players use the leaf on the Prince of Cannock so he can return and use Kazing again in Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake.
