In Dune: Awakening, faction loyalty doesn't have to limit your collection options. While you'll naturally have access to your chosen faction's vendor with standard pricing, there are special merchants that allow you to purchase items from the opposing faction as well.

This comprehensive guide will show you exactly where to find these vendors and how to acquire both Atreides and Harkonnen variants, construction sets, vehicles, and armor, regardless of your faction choice.
Getting Atreides Items as an Atreides Player
If you're with the Atreides, you'll go ahead and do this at Arrakeen to collect all the Atreides items. You're going to run straight across to the left-hand side of Arrakeen, all the way to this vendor.

You can see that this is located on the map as the Atreides Vendor on the left-hand side. You'll make your way to this location, where you'll purchase all the Atreides items.
If you scroll down past the Ornithopter stuff, you'll see the Atreides Buggy variant, the armor variants, melee weapons, Sandbikes, pretty much all the vehicles, as well as the construction Stronghold set for 80,000 Solaris.

You can pretty much buy all these things and get unique customizations. In fact, the armor you might be wearing could actually be purchased from here, too.
Getting Harkonnen Items as an Atreides Player
Now, you'll notice that the same vendor on Harko Village is not accessible, so there's actually a second shop on Arrakeen for the Harko Village items. This vendor is actually located at the entrance of Arrakeen, where you get dropped off on the right-hand side of the map. At this location, you'll see that there is a Scrap Trader.

It's not the Scrap Trader specifically that you need to speak to. You're not speaking to her; you're actually speaking to the guy next to her, who actually doesn't really have a marker on the map.
When you speak to him, you'll notice that when you trade, he has all the Harkonnen items, but the one thing you'll notice is that they're going to be double the price.
You can get the Atreides Desert Light Armor Set and pretty much all the different armor sets, the Buggy variants, and pretty much all the same items, but from the Harkonnen variant. You can get all the Harko items, the Harko Stronghold construction set.

Of course, it will cost double, so purchasing all these different items here is very expensive. However, if you're aligned with the Atreides, you can obtain them. This is how you will acquire them.
Getting Harkonnen Items as a Harkonnen Player
If you're instead sided with the Harkonnen, you will go to Harko Village, and in Harko Village, it's actually quite simple to find your base vendor. It's pretty much right after the security screens. It's a vendor located here. This will be the Harkonnen Vendor located right at the entrance of the Harko Village. As you get here, you'll see it's actually called the Harkonnen Vendor.

This is only accessible if you are Harkonnen. If you're Atreides, they won't speak to you, so you won't be able to access them as Atreides. However, as a Harkonnen, you'll be able to access them at the normal price you would pay for all the items.
Getting Atreides Items as a Harkonnen Player
While you can buy all the Harkonnen stuff at your faction vendor to get all the Atreides items as a Harkonnen player, there is a special vendor for you, too. For this, you'll pretty much run straight through all the way to the side where the Weapons Merchant is located.

At the Weapons Merchant at the top right-hand side, you'll see that if you take this alleyway through, you'll run past the Bene Gesserit Advanced Class Trainer, and you'll go to the Weapons Merchant location, and you'll speak with this NPC.
This NPC is going to have all the Atreides items, but these are going to be a whole lot more expensive. As you can see, instead of 80,000, it's 160,000.

So, as a Harkonnen player, this is how you're going to get your hands on any of the Atreides items if you find any of them cool or you just want to own all of the stuff.
Unfortunately, you have to pay double the price for everything, just as Atreides has to pay double the price for Harkonnen goods.
