The Remembrance Quest for Guardian is a multi-chapter journey that promises special items and a unique skin for players. These rewards can be earned by defeating bosses, engaging with NPCs in the Round-Table Hold, and selecting specific dialogues and random interactions with the game's objects.

Unlocking Chapter 4

Obtain Memory Fragments by killing bosses or completing expeditions to begin the Remembrance Quest, Elden Ring Nightreig. You can get them from any Night Lord; you will surely get a Memory Fragment if you kill one. You get a Fragment as a reward after every boss battle.

When you have sufficient fragments, proceed to the Journal in the Round Table Hold to unlock Chapter 4. If Chapter 4 is not yet unlocked, do more expeditions and collect more Memory Fragments until it is possible to unlock Chapter 4.

Completing the Objectives

Beginning Chapter 4, you will face the Raider in Elden Ring Nightreig. You can talk to him and go to the Iron Menial marked on the map. The NPC is marked with an exclamation mark above his head. Talk to him and bring up the topic of Cursed Weapon. This will lead to a personal quest for him.

Now you have to kill a Guardian Golem in Limveld. It is not on your main map, but you can follow the quest in your Journal. To do it, go into any Night Lord expedition; you do not have to finish the fight.

Once on an Expedition, search for the Flag marked on the map, typically at the bottom left. For safety, you should go there on day two, as it's on the map's edge.

When you locate the Guardian Golem, avoid using your ultimate ability while asleep, as it cannot be damaged. Instead, interact with the Light on him to wake him up. After he wakes up, the fight begins. Remember, always target the legs to inflict damage on Guardians. This Golem has high HP and hits hard, so be cautious. He can knock you off cliffs, so maintain good positioning during the battle.

Getting the Stone Stake

After defeating the Guardian Golem in Elden Ring Nightreig, you'll gain a Stone Stake item, completing your objective. You can either finish the expedition by defeating the Night Lord or return to the Round Table Hold by dying; either way works since you have the required item.

Return to Iron Menial in the Round Table Hold and show him the Iron Stake. This takes the story forward and gives information, along with the second volume, regarding Cursed Weapons. Complete Chapter 4 by interacting with the Remembrance Light.

Spectral Merchant Objectives (Chapter 6)

Chapter 6 must be unlocked by default in Elden Ring Nightreig, but if it is not accessible, kill another Night Lord to gain more Memory Fragments. Once you start Chapter 6's Remembrance, you will find a new character: the Spectral Merchant inside Round-Table-Hold.

Find him on the map and talk to him in Elden Ring Nightreign. He will eventually provide you with an Eerie Charm item, which you need to advance this chapter. If you keep talking to him, you can visit his shop, where he offers relics for sale.

Once you get the Eerie Charm, proceed to the Expedition table in the Round Table Hold. As you approach close enough, your character will fall, caused by the Eerie Charm you received from the Merchant.

You wake up in bed and converse with Iron Menial and the Recluse. You open your map and have an exclamation mark over the Spectral Merchant, so you must return to him in Elden Ring Nightreign.

When you visit the Spectral Merchant once more, you will have two choices: kill him or leave him be. Leaving him will not progress the story, so you must choose to kill him. Killing him will reward you with the Merchant's Ledger item and conclude this Remembrance chapter.

Complete the remembrance in Elden Ring Nightreign by engaging with the Light, and you will be back at the Journal Table.

Getting the Merchant’s Ledger (Chapter 7)

Go to Iron Menial in Elden Ring Nightreign and give him the Merchant's Ledger from your last remembrance chapter, and he'll tell you to locate the Demon Merchant at Limveld.

This is a tricky objective since the Demon Merchant is not assured of spawning in any expedition. To have a surefire way of getting it, slay the Beast Night Lord (Madness Boss). Killing this particular boss will ensure that you receive the item you need.

Otherwise, check your map when you spawn on other Elden Ring, Nightreign Expeditions. You can find the Beast at the end of an Expedition if you don't see any Personal Mission icon. But you cannot use his Merchant Mode to purchase the item - you must kill him in combat to proceed.

If you want to get the Merchant quicker, the easy way is to quit and restart them until you get to one with a Merchant highlighted on your map. The Merchant will be shown as a distinct icon on the map.

Before searching for the Demon Merchant, ensure you have 10,000 Runes ready. Additionally, complete the quest on the first day, as the Merchant disappears when the day ends.

When you encounter the Demon Merchant, engage him and use the first option to buy the tome with 10,000 Runes, and then return to the Round-Table-Hold in Elden Ring Nightreign.

Talk with Reculse (Chapter 9)

Start Chapter 9, the last chapter of the diary. This will put you back in the Round Table Hold with a new mode enabled. You'll see the paper on the table before you - read it because it will guide you to a bookshelf in another room, highlighted on your map.

Travel to where it was indicated and examine the right-hand shelf in Elden Ring Nightreign. A White Light glows there, and you can talk to it. Reading it will give you more information on the Cursed Weapons used to kill your flock.

Look at your map, and you will notice that the Recluse has an exclamation mark over the garden region of the Round Table Hold. Go to her position and talk to her. You are inquiring whether she is the cause of the curse and the one who killed your flock. She will accept all the allegations.

The Recluse will reward you with the Witch's Brooch and then ask you to punish or forgive her. You'll choose either of the options, but you'll forgive her anyway. This is the end of the Remembrance-Quest-Line in Elden Ring Nightreign.

Interact with the Remembrance Light near the Recluse to complete the last chapter. This will take you back to the Journal, where you will get the Rewards.

Completion Rewards

Upon completing the Remembrance Quest, you will get:

Remembrance Skin: Unlike other classes, which receive tiny, almost invisible pins, the Guardian gets a unique helmet that significantly enhances the standard look in Elden Ring Nightreign.

Witch's Brooch: Serves as a relic item that you can wear.
