Battie is one of the most powerful Companions you can obtain in your escape attempts from the Underworld. This guide will walk you through the process of getting this Companion and explain how to utilize it effectively in combat in Hades.

Getting Battie

To get Battie, you need to develop a deep relationship with Megaera, one of the Fury sisters. Begin by collecting Ambrosia, the rare Nectar that strengthens bonds with various characters throughout the Underworld.

You must present Megaera with six Ambrosia gifts to progress your relationship. Once you reach this milestone, her affinity meter will become locked, preventing further progression until you complete a specific favor.

This favor differs from typical missions or quests you might encounter elsewhere in the game in Hades.

The favor completion occurs through a random event that you cannot directly trigger or control. You simply need to continue your escape attempts and wait for the event to unfold naturally.

Eventually, Megaera will visit your chamber to have a conversation with you. During this encounter, she will explain that her battles against you stem from duty rather than personal animosity.

This conversation can only happen after she has previously appeared in your room to collect her belongings in Hades.

After this pivotal conversation takes place, Megaera's heart indicators will unlock, allowing you to continue building your relationship. Present her with one additional Ambrosia after completing the favor, and she will reward you with Battie.

Using Battie in Combat

Battie calls Megaera to help you in fights along your journey. When she is triggered, she launches a devastating attack that hits in a straight line forward from where you are and does 2,500 damage.

This move looks like a series of area-of-effect circles that can target multiple enemies simultaneously if they are positioned correctly.

It's important to know that you can't use Battie when fighting any of the Fury bosses. Because of this limit, you can't call on Megaera to fight her sisters or herself during those battles. Plan how you will use your Companions when going up against these bosses in Hades.
