In MIO: Memories in Orbit, Upgrades are the core skills that let you explore more of the world and finish the story.
You will find most of them by interacting with Strange Tubes after finishing specific tasks or fights. If you find every upgrade, including the secret one, you will earn the Fully Upgraded trophy.

Early Movement Skills
The first major power you will find is the Hairpin. To get it, you must first beat a boss named Egis. Once the fight is over, move forward and look for a Strange Tube in MIO: Memories in Orbit.
Interact with it to get the power. Next is the Harvester. Use your Hairpin to climb to the very top of the area and look for a hole in the wall on the left. This leads to a fight with Boss Crow. After you win, go left and find the Strange Tube to claim the skill.
Core Combat and Exploration
As you keep playing, you will find more Strange Tubes that give you essential powers. You can get the Dodge, Sail, and Striders skills this way.

These abilities are vital for getting past hazards and reaching new sections of the map. Simply interact with the tubes when you find them to add these moves to your list in MIO: Memories in Orbit.
Advanced Abilities
To find the Slingshot, you must head all the way to the left. You will need to move through water and climb up several pipes. Once you reach the top, look for a platform with saw blades.
Use your Striders skill to dash through them. Head to the right past even more saws until you get trapped in a room with a large enemy. Kill the enemy to open the doors and find the Strange Tube sitting just ahead.

The Secret Final Skill
The last upgrade is called Flowing Steps. This power is optional, but you must have it if you want to reach the True Ending in MIO: Memories in Orbit.
First, you have to reach the Crucible and find both Crucible Reports. Once you have the items, look for Tomo and Samsk in that area. Talk to them to receive the ability, which lets you move on water.
