MIO: Memories in Orbit Guide | How to Save Mel

Here’s a guide on how to save Mel in MIO: Memories in Orbit.

If you notice that Mel has disappeared from the Nexus, you will need to track him down to get your shop back.

This happens as you move further into the story. Saving him is the only way to keep buying what you need and to unlock a special item in MIO: Memories in Orbit.

Tracking Mel Down

To find him, head over to the Vault and look for the large room on the left side. There is a drawer on the right that hides a secret path. Go through it to enter a new area.

You will see 4 Pumps scattered around this space. You must find and turn on all of them to move forward in MIO: Memories in Orbit.

The Rescue

Once the pumps are running, look for a large pipe at the end of the path. Drop down inside of it. You will have to fight a boss at the bottom. After you win the battle, Mel will be safe.

You can then head back to his usual spot in the Nexus. As a thank you, he will let you buy the Gratitude mod, which costs just 1 Nacre Droplet in MIO: Memories in Orbit.
