Here’s a guide on how to solve the Rope Puzzle in Chapter One of Planet of Lana II.

To move forward, you need to reach the next area. Have Mui stand on the black-and-yellow floor piece to grow a Tentacle below. Drop down onto the Tentacle and walk left to find the puzzle. There are two Ropes in this room that Mui must drop for you.

Releasing the First Rope

Start by pushing the Movable Platform toward the left. You need to put it close enough to the ledge so Mui can jump on the Movable Platform and then hop up to the higher floor.

Do not push the Movable Platform too far left or Mui will miss the jump. Once Mui is up there, tell them to cut the Rope in Chapter One of Planet of Lana II.

Releasing the Second Rope

Have Mui jump back down onto the Movable Platform. Now, push the Movable Platform to the right. When it is in the right spot, have Mui jump up to the second Rope and cut it. Now both Ropes are hanging down and ready to use.

Reaching the Exit

You must use the Ropes to get to the left side of the room. Move the Movable Platform so it sits right between the two Ropes. Climb the first Rope and swing onto the Movable Platform. From there, jump to the second Rope and swing across to the next area in Planet of Lana II.
