Fast Travel plays a functional role in The Rogue Prince of Persia, especially when you need to revisit areas for missed items or move across sections of the map without taking risks. 

Since the game does not include a regenerative health system, avoiding unnecessary encounters becomes important. This guide explains why Fast Travel matters, how to use it, and what you should expect from the current system during Early Access.

Why Fast Travel Matters

You may need to return to earlier locations to pick up missed elements such as Medallions or other items. Moving across zones without Fast Travel can take time and exposes you to hazards that can reduce your health. Using Fast Travel helps minimize these risks.

Activating Fast Travel points also reveals nearby chests, giving you information about what is close to your location. These points serve as practical markers that support your exploration and help you track areas that still contain resources.

How Fast Travel Works

Fast Travel in the game operates through structures known as the Well of Dream. You will encounter these as you move through different map sections. 

They become visible when you approach them, and this reaction indicates that the point is active and ready to use. To interact with an activated Well of Dream, you need to press up on the D-Pad.

You can only Fast Travel between two activated Well of Dream structures. If you have only activated one, you will not be able to teleport. Continue exploring the map to unlock more of them so you can move between different areas.

These structures often appear near dead ends. Visiting these ends is useful because they contain resources that support your progress. This gives you another reason to check every path and activate every Well of Dream you find.

Other Fast Travel Options

Since The Rogue Prince of Persia is in Early Access, future updates may adjust the Fast Travel system. New methods could appear, or the existing one may be changed. 

At the moment, the only available method is through the Well of Dream, so keeping track of where you find these structures will help you move efficiently through the game.
