Once you learn how to manage your stamina and watch the prompts, you can change the direction of any match. You can also change how weapons look on the ground to make things easier to see. Mastering Reversals and Stamina

Reversals happen when you tap Triangle on PS5 or Y on Xbox right as the prompt shows up. This move lets you turn a defensive moment into an attack. However, you have to watch your Stamina bar. Every reversal you do use up energy. If your bar turns purple, you are locked out and cannot reverse until it fills back up. Do not mash the button. Instead, hold the block button to stop strikes and save your energy for bigger moves. If you want the purple bar to appear less often, you should increase the Stamina and Recovery attributes for your superstar.

How to Break Pins Fast

Escaping a pin is a mini-game that requires good timing. A bar will appear on your screen with a target zone and a moving cursor. You need to flick the Right Analog Stick up exactly when the cursor is inside the target. If your health is low, the target zone gets smaller and moves faster. You can get an instant escape if you have two bars of your Special Meter filled. To do this, use the Resiliency Payback by pressing R2 + Triangle on PS5 or RT + Y on Xbox. If you are close to the edge of the ring, look for the prompt to hit Circle or B for a Rope Break.

Adjusting Weapon Pickup Outlines

You can change how weapons look to suit your style. By default, items like Chairs and Tables glow so you can find them easily. If you want to change this, go to the Main Menu and open Settings. Look under the Gameplay or Presentation tab for Weapon Pickup Outlines. You can turn this setting on if you want the glow to help you in matches with no disqualifications. You can turn it off if you want the ring to look more realistic. Being able to find a weapon quickly after a successful reversal helps you end the match on your own terms.
