The Guild 3 Releases Today

The Dark Middle Ages of Early Access have ended, and with their passing ushers in a new age: the age of The Guild 3. THQ Nordic has confirmed the release with a launch trailer. The game lets players build a kingdom over 14 distinct European towns by participating in this compelling combination of a medieval trading game and a historical life simulation. To amass wealth, players will need to overcome the obstacles of manufacturing and marketing a wide variety of products while searching for the most profitable path at all times.

 

In The Guild 3, a family has to mature and amass power and influence over many years by maneuvering through the local society's political maneuverings and covert operations. It is up to the players to create the history of their very own dynasty and turn it into a legend. Gain a new reputation, establish yourself in a position of authority, and become an informer, a market reeve, the city legate, or even the mayor.

The Guild 3 is an innovative mashup that combines elements of role-playing games, economic simulations, strategic games, and historical life simulations. The player's objective is to create a family dynasty that will last for many generations. As the world and the dynasty continue to undergo constant upheaval, players will be required to demonstrate their mastery of many trades and handicrafts, social gatherings, and, eventually, politics and nefarious plotting.

Developed by Golem Labs, The Guild 3 stepped into the Steam early access on Sep 26, 2017, and is currently available on Steam and GOG for $29.99.
