Here's a breakdown of the 10 biggest reveals, which I deem sure to make you look forward to as well.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has a new trailer and will be available for Xbox One and PC on an identified date. Starting with the trailer, the draw is there. The way you fight looks awesome, and the sound effects are excellent. It appears as though the whip is as joyful of a tool as seen in the movies. I fail to comprehend how this could ever disappoint you.

The game will be available on the systems listed before December 9th. After that, it will be available on the PlayStation 5 in the Spring of 2025. All eyes are on this one since it seems to be the long-awaited Indiana Jones game. While there have been passable ones before, this one seems to have finally nailed it.

Gamescom 2024, Civilization VII, News, Upcoming Game, NoobFeed

Civilization VII

The arrival of Civilization VII is scheduled for February 11th. I think it is aiming well. It seems like more than simply a carbon copy of Civilization VI. It feels like they put a lot of effort into rethinking the systems, especially with this New Ages concept that divides the extensive game into three parts:

Antiquity, Exploration, and Modern. Additionally, they hinted at some intriguing outcomes for certain kingdoms. Fans of the franchise will be pleased to know that, despite adding those elements, the game's fundamental mechanics seem to have remained mostly unchanged.

Gamescom 2024, REANIMAL, News, Upcoming Game, NoobFeed

REANIMAL

A new game named REANIMAL was presented by Tarsier Studios, the same company behind Little Nightmares. A surreal co-op horror adventure game is being planned for this one, and it will feature an orphaned brother and sister team attempting to save their pals. Although Little Nightmares has some striking similarities, there are also many noticeable differences. You may play this locally if you prefer, but you can also play it online, which is great since it includes a camera that the two players can share.

Its stated goal of "maximizing claustrophobia and tension" is one reason the local co-op and shared camera appeal to me. It resembles a darker, more cinematic Little Nightmares with greater depth and visual effects. Personally, I am impatient for this one. The release date is still a mystery, but it will be available on PC, Xbox Series, and the PlayStation 5 very soon.

Gamescom 2024, Mafia: The Old Country, News, Upcoming Game, NoobFeed

Mafia: The Old Country

The games in the Mafia series are fantastic. Usually, they take place in the United States. Contrarily, this one is not. If you are looking forward to the real deal, then that is what we are discussing. Setting it in Sicily in the early 20th century is, I must say, a brilliant plan. That said, I am not ruling out the possibility of enjoying another American Mafia game. I normally would, but I thoroughly like the change of pace here, and I see a lot of promise for this. Only a teaser has been released, but we know it will be out in 2025. So far, that is all we know.

Gamescom 2024, ARC Raiders, News, Upcoming Game, NoobFeed

ARC Raiders

It goes without saying that this is not a brand-new announcement. Arc Raiders is a survival action shooter in third-person PvPvE mode. The studio responsible for creating THE FINALS has presented this to us. This is an extraction shooter. The combination of free-to-play and extraction shooter, to be honest, results in a plethora of terrible microtransactions.

Plus, Helldivers 2 shows that live support issues in games may be reduced by charging a premium fee beforehand. It looks fantastic, and if they are as skilled at making extraction shooters as they are at PvPs, then it is a given that it will be awesome. Registering for a playtest is now open. Putting this game through its paces will begin in the fall. It will be released next year; however, I am still unsure of the precise date.

Gamescom 2024, Herdling, News, Upcoming Game, NoobFeed

Herdling

The creators of FAR: Changing Tides and FAR: Lone Sails have gifted us the announcement of Herdling. It is a game of shepherding. You are in charge of caring for a herd of striking Calicorns, characterized by their unique patterning of coat coloration, horns, eyes, etc. Frankly, those who criticize video games for being too simplistic or violent should be made to play a herding game such as this instead. The intention behind my statement is not to mock the concept of a peaceful game. We are still unsure when it will be released, but I have added it to my wishlist.

Gamescom 2024, Borderlands 4, News, Upcoming Game, NoobFeed

Borderlands 4

They finally and formally announced the release of the new Borderlands game. Those familiar with Borderlands know that they are looter shooters, among the most prominent cases of the genre. To be honest, if I were in their position, I would also want to get over the movie as fast as I possibly could. Obviously, the games are top-notch, so they directed towards making a film adaptation in honor of them. The release year of Borderlands 4 is set for 2025.

Gamescom 2024, Lynked: Banner of the Spark, News, Upcoming Game, NoobFeed

Lynked: Banner of the Spark

The developer FuzzyBot is providing us with Lynked: Banner of the Spark. The bright colors and cute cartoony robots give it the vibe of an action rogue-like game mixed with Mega Man. A colorful game is no guarantee of a cozy experience. It is brand new and will be released next year.

Gamescom 2024, Kong: Survivor Instinct, News, Upcoming Game, NoobFeed

Kong: Survivor Instinct

It should be mentioned that this was revealed the day before Gamescom, but I will count it anyway. I thought it was a nice change of pace to see that this Kong game is a side-scrolling, platforming, action game. Furthermore, it casts us as ordinary spectators in a King Kong film. It takes place not long after Godzilla vs. Kong is wrapped up. As much as first-person is meant to mimic a direct human perspective, I think it is appropriate to have scale, where you have these gigantic monsters on screen and humans who are just tiny.

So, yes, I believe side-scrolling was a great plan to implement. Though Kong: Survivor Instinct is the title, the trailer avoided any mention of Godzilla. The possibilities, therefore, are endless. However, we are going to see Abaddon. No video game that I am aware of has ever included Abaddon. And so we can look forward to this game's release on the PlayStation 5 this Autumn.

Gamescom 2024, Secret Level, News, Upcoming Game, NoobFeed

Secret Level

This is not a video game but rather a series of stories based on various video game IPs, and it is titled Secret Level. It will soon be available on Amazon. The creators of the critically acclaimed and widely watched Love Death + Robots are responsible for this. There are a couple of notable inclusions here, and from what I have seen, it looks like it will be pretty fun to witness. We won't know until the program premieres, but I believe Fallout has shown that Amazon is serious about acquiring video game IPs.

That is all for my rundown. Stay tuned for updates, as we are sure to keep a very close eye on these titles.
