New The Legend of Korra Video Games in Development

Platinum Games, developers of Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, and Vanquish, is working on a third-person combat game based on the Nickelodeon TV show The Legend of Korra. Published by Activision, the downloadable title will launch on PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, and PS3 this fall.

Tim Hendrick will be writing the story and stated that the game will take place between Book 2 and Book 3. The player will take control of Avatar Korra as she faces familiar adversaries from the television show using air, water, fire, and earth bending. 

Webfoot Technologies is currently developing a turned-based strategy game based on The Legend of Korra for the Nintendo 3DS that will release later this year. Platinum Games on the other hand will focus on fast-pace martial-art combat where as the 3DS will focus on tactical gameplay.

Remember that Book 3 of The Legend of Korra debuts this Friday.
