New Anthem Footage and Information Builds on Service Model Formula, Coming February 22nd

Today, EA closed their E3 2018 conference with Anthem; BioWare's next big IP. Revealing new information about the story, gameplay, and customizable options.

According to BioWare, the story is focused on finding tools left behind by gods. Anthem serves as this all-powerful force.

You're a freelancer who pilots Javelin exosuits and must stop rivals called the Dominion who found a way to weaponize the Anthem and protect the people.

Players will have full cosmetic options such as color and geometry. Anthem will not have loot boxes but players can purchase cosmetic items.

Gameplay was shown called Scars and Villainy as players venture away from their Strider, your base of operations. Shown were the Colossus, Storm, Infiltrator, and Ranger Javelins as the player flies, dive underwater, and fights.

The weapons shown were you basic assault rifles along with motors, Cyro grenades, a shield, and barrier.

The gameplay footage ends with a giant insect creature hopping down.

Anthem is set to release on February 22nd, 2019 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
