Final Fantasy XVI Eikon builds serve as the foundation for your battle strategy and the levels of difficulty you may overcome while facing specific monsters. Because each Eikon has unique skills and features, creating the ideal arrangement frequently requires precise combinations of said Eikon. The following are some of the best Eikon builds for various play styles and challenges; this guide explains how to maximize Clive's potential.
The Balanced Build
Balanced is ideal for gamers looking for versatility and agility in combat; this set focuses on blending offense and defense to deal with a variety of situations.
Recommended eikons and abilities:
Phoenix, Flames of Rebirth, Heatwave- It is possible to offer phoenix for healing/mobility to allow Clive to survive long combat, while Heatwave for projectile deflection provides a strong defense.
Garuda: Garuda's abilities focus on adversary stagger for vulnerability exploitation. Deadly Embrace brings adversaries closer, enabling flawless combo sequences. Titan: Titan's powers are powerful and ideal for dealing with staggered adversaries. Upheaval is excellent for dealing AoE damage to groups. How to Use: Rotate abilities to apply steady pressure while keeping cooldowns under control.
Save Flames of Rebirth when your health is low if there are a lot of opponents surrounding you. Use Garuda to stagger the enemy before switching to Titan for the finishing move.
Stagger Specialist Build
This build is ideal for players who enjoy staggering their adversaries and delivering the finishing blow when they are absolutely helpless. It maximizes damage by utilizing skills that quickly fill the stagger gauge.
Suggested Eikons and abilities:
Garuda (Gouge, Wicked Wheel): Garuda is an expert at fast building the stagger gauge. This Eikon is a must-have due to Gouge's quick assaults and Wicked Wheel's AoE stagger potential.
Bahamut (Impulse, Wings of Light): Bahamut's ranged abilities contribute to maintaining pressure from a distance, supplementing Garuda's stagger-building efforts.
Shiva (Cold Snap, Diamond Dust): Shiva's freezing powers delay foes down, giving you more time to focus on stunning them.
Tips for Use:
Enter the fight using Garuda's Gouge to quickly accumulate stagger gauges. Cold Snap freezes fast-moving foes, creating opportunities for Gouge or Wicked Wheel. After staggering an adversary, enter Bahamut to use high-damage skills such as Impulse. AoE Damage Build The AoE Damage Build is useful when dealing with large groups of foes or bosses who summon minions. This build prioritizes skills that deal significant area-of-effect damage. Recommended eikons and abilities:
Titan- Basically, for an AoE that cleans up groups quickly. Earthen Fury's shockwaves ensure that damage is distributed evenly across a large region. Ifrit- Ifrit's Ignition allows you to just plow through adversaries while doing damage in your path. Will-o'-the-Wykes offers him additional AoE coverage. Bahamut- The Bahamut shots have a pretty decent ranged AoE, so you can be reasonably far away and still deal good damage.
How To Use:
Begin with Ifrit's Ignition to collect opponents, followed by Titan's Upheaval. With Earthen Fury, you can destroy or weaken any remaining opponents or bosses that are surrounded by minions. To maximize the value of Bahamut's Megaflare, use it only when foes are close together.
Single-Target DPS Build
This build is designed to do the most damage to individual targets, such as bosses or elite foes. It focuses on skills that deal with a lot of burst damage—recommended eikons and abilities: Bahamut - Megaflare, and Satellite. Bahamut's powers cause massive single-target damage. Satellite's continual beams supplement Megaflare's destructive force. Titan - Raging Fists, Wind Up. Titan's powerful melee skills are ideal for dealing massive damage to a single enemy.
Ifrit (Hellfire, Ignition): Hellfire adds a powerful punch to your combo, while Ignition closes the gap on adversaries attempting to keep their distance from you.
How To Use
Use Titan's Wind-up as a strong opener, followed by Raging Fists for constant damage.
To deal the most damage, time Bahamut's Megaflare between enemy openings.
Use Ignition to stay connected to mobile bosses and keep pressure.
The Defensive Build
These are for survivability and lengthy fighting; the Defensive Build provides the tools to survive even the most arduous fights.
Recommended eikons and abilities:
Phoenix - Flames of Rebirth, Scarlet Cyclone; Phoenix's healing and AoE damage abilities are critical for maintaining health and crowd control.
Shiva - Cold Snap and Mesmerize; Shiva's chilling skills help keep foes at bay, relieving strain on Clive.
Titan: Earthen Fury; Titanic Block. This strengthens Titan's defense capabilities, such as Titanic Block, which allows you to absorb damage effectively and counterattack efficiently. Tips for Use: Cold Snap is useful for creating space and controlling the pace of the fight. Count on the Flames of Rebirth to help you heal during difficult times. Titanic Block can absorb powerful enemy strikes and respond with high-damage counters.
