GameStop Powerup Elite Pro Membership Program Ending

It was rumored that GameStop's Powerup Elite Pro program would be shutting down, now it has been confirmed. Effective today the program will not be offering but those with an active membership will have the benefits until the subscription ends.

The program was officially canceled when an email was sent to all users. The program gave 30 points for every dollar spent, 20% off on pre-owned games, 20$ extra trade credit on games, the items listed in the Pro membership above, as well as a Collectibles welcome gift and free 2-day shipping on a purchase of $35.

Similarly, Best Buy ended their popular Gamer's Club Unlock that provided discounts to all new and pre-owned games and more credit to trade-ins.
