Looks like EA and Respawn Entertainment's Apex Legends has performed quite well, with over 1 million unique players having downloaded and played the game within hours of its launch.

The news came from Vince Zampella's official Twitter account who stated:
“Thank you so much for showing up and being part of this with @Respawn you are amazing!!”
Twitch viewership of the game has been soaring as well, especially considering the game was only recently leaked less than a week ago and only launched.
Apex Legends is available for free now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
