Capcom Has "Numerous Titles" In Development Using the RE Engine
Dino Crisis Remake coming soon?

Capcom has been one of the most popular companies in video games recently, with titles such as Monster Hunter World, Resident Evil 2 2019, and Devil May Cry V. All these recent releases earned positive scores from critics and fans while also selling very well. The RE Engine, which was used in Resident Evil VII, Resident Evil 2 2019, and Devil May Cry V is now being used in several in-development projects at Capcom.
Capcom made this news public during a fiscal year review, confirming that numerous games are in development using the RE Engine but didn't say what.
While we are unable to comment on the specific number of titles or release windows, there are numerous titles currently being developed internally with the RE Engine,” said Capcom in response to the inquiry.
Capcom also confirmed that the engine has been developed to handle next-generation game development for the new era of consoles.
“The games we developed using the RE Engine during this current hardware generation have received critical acclaim, and from the early stages of building this engine, we kept the ability to augment it for next-generation development in mind,” the publisher stated. They continued on saying, “as such, we view the RE Engine as one of our strengths that will contribute to next-generation game creation.”
Currently, Capcom is working on a new expansion for Monster: Hunter World. In addition, rumors have been spreading that Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is currently being remade following the success of RE2 2019. But we'll likely find out more this E3 2019.
