An enormous expansion from Final Fantasy VII Remake's playable character roster, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth's cast is outstanding in its own right. While characters like Cait Sith and Red XIII weren't in Final Fantasy VII Remake, fans were able to enjoy their distinct playstyles in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Fans, though, are really interested in learning more about Vincent.

Understanding Cloud's Visions of Sephiroth

In both the remake and the rebirth of Final Fantasy VII, Cloud has visions of Sephiroth, and there's a significant story reason for that.

Is Vincent Playable

Many fans were unhappy to learn that Final Fantasy VII Remake did not include Vincent, as they had anticipated his inclusion. There is good news and terrible news for you searching for Vincent Valentine in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Although he isn't a playable character, he will ultimately join the player's group in the game, which is fantastic news.

When Does Vincent Join The Party

Once you reach Chapter 11, The Long Shadow of Shinra, they will be able to access Vincent. In order to access him, you must return to the Shinra Manor as part of the mission. This is the same location where Sephiroth's story unraveled in Chapter 1 of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.

Following a series of challenging fights, Cloud and the rest of the party find Vincent's coffin in a closed room. Curiously, this door was also there in Chapter 1, though it was inaccessible at the time.

Cloud and his crew will move on to the next section of the Shinra Manor after a short conversation with Vincent, but you will face Vincent there. Due to Vincent's transformation into his Galian beast form, this clash is not going to be your average battle. It may be one of the game's hardest bosses, but you can take advantage of its vulnerability to fire and rapidly deplete its health.

After losing, Cait Sith invites Vincent to join their celebration, but he turns him down and goes back to his room. Vincent, though, boards Cid's ship with Cloud and the rest of his group as they set sail for the Gold Saucer toward the chapter's conclusion.

In Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Vincent is an integral aspect of the party from the start, unlike in the previous game when he was an optional character. Many of you are upset that Vincent isn't available in the game, but it's safe to assume that the creators are planning to add him in the third installment—which is still quite a ways off.
