Square Enix Warns that Retail Copies of Final Fantasy VII Remake Could be Delayed

Final Fantasy VII Remake will release on time but retail copies could be delayed

COVID-19 has had a global impact on many businesses. Today, Square Enix wanted to reassure fans that Final Fantasy VII Remake will launch on time. But retail copies could face a delay.

Some of our customers may have received a message that states that the Release Date has changed on Final Fantasy VII Remake. The Release Date is still slated for April 10th, 2020

This news comes following Amazon tweeting out that customers were receiving emails about the game being delayed. To which Square Enix came out to reassure fans that Final Fantasy VII Remake won't be delayed. But retail copies could face delays because of shipping limitations.

This means even though you pre-ordered the game you could have to wait for the game physically. Digital releases will be available on April 10th as scheduled. 

Final Fantasy VII Remake launches on April 10th for PS4. A demo is now available.
