Among the Sleep Coming to a PS4 Near You

Successfully funded through Kickstarter in May of 2013, Among the Sleep is a first person horror adventure wherein players assume the role of a two year old child who flees his home after an emotional event takes place. Armed with a teddy bear, the toddler attempts to find safety from a dark, dreamlike world.

Among the Sleep surpassed its $200,000 goal on Kickstarter, with more than 8,000 people supporting the project. Furthermore, Krillbite Studio released an Alpha in May 2013, and it continues to be downloaded and played to this day.

As announced today on the PlayStation Blog, Among the Sleep will release on PlayStation 4 with Krillbite Studio's CEO, Ole Andreas Jordet, adding, "We’re also thrilled to be among the first to explore PlayStation’s new virtual reality technology Project Morpheus for Among the Sleep."

In November 2013, Krillbite Studio reported that Among the Sleep was expected to release early spring 2014 for PC, Mac and Linux, however, with spring well on its way, it seems the adventure game may release more towards the end of the season. Nonetheless, Jordet reported that the studio is "approaching the end" of development, and Among the Sleep will release "in the not-so-distant future."
