Bravely Default 2 Is About To Go Gold

The official Twitter account of Bravely Default tweeted earlier:

“BDFE was a big hit and it’s thanks to it that the development of Default 2 could begin. We offer our thanks to the BDFE development team and to all its players.

And now, it’s our turn!

The development of Default 2 is finally in its final stage. We’ll keep going!” (translation provided by DualShockers)

 

You might be wondering why they’re thanking people who played Bravely Default Fairy’s Effect (BDFE). For those who don’t know, Bravely Default Fairy’s Effect is a mobile game released in Japan. It was released back in 2017 and it’s now in its last legs as it’s servers will close on August 31, 2020.

With that being said and the game on its way to going gold, we’re just waiting for a release date announcement! Oh, I also heard that Square Enix will start announcing games in the next few months.
