After the excellent additions that came with The Crimson Court and the roster enrichment that was the Shieldbreaker, Red Hook Studios still have plenty of madness to share with the world. The next offering will come in the shape of Darkest Dungeon: The Color Of Madness, a DLC scheduled for next year. Drawing inspiration from H.P Lovecraft's The Color Out Of Space, a comet crashing into the Miller's farm on the outskirts of the Hamlet brings about some more unpleasantries. The DLC will add new trinkets, a new faction and a new quest type where "confront unending waves of enemies, new and old, pushing ever closer to the crash site of the Comet.  Survive as long as you can stomach, and compare your highest kill count with friends and rivals alike". The Color Of Madness is planned to release in Spring 2018.

Console players of Darkest Dungeon also have things coming their way. Playstation players in both NA and EU regions will receive the Shieldbreaker on December 6th. The Nintendo Switch version of the game is still without a release date but will come with both The Crimson Court and The Shieldbreaker DLCs when it launches. Lastly, Blitworks have already begun work on porting The Crimson Court to iPad. Have a look at the full announcement.
