Ever since the delay of GTA 6's release and the second trailer dropped by Rockstar, nothing has been announced about the game, which has kept fans on the edge. Fans of the game tried looking for all types of clues, but here is the real deal: recently, an ex-developer of Rockstar came forward and revealed exciting news about GTA 6 and the rumored development cost of GTA 7.

Will Grand Theft Auto 6 run smoothly at 60fps, or will it be locked at 30fps? That's the question every gamer wants to know. According to Obbe Vermeij, who used to work for Rockstar and worked on GTA IV, and soon after that left the studio.

Obbe recently discussed GTA 6 in an interview, sharing his thoughts based on years of experience in the field. He said that even though everyone wants 60fps, there is a trade-off between performance and visual quality. It was agreed that they would sacrifice frame rate if it meant getting more content on the screen. "It feels like a curse." It's impossible to get rid of.

Obbe also said that casual gamers probably won't mind a stable 30fps, since GTA isn't really made for competitive gamers anyway. This point of view is strange because GTA V runs at 60fps on modern consoles, so many fans would see a step back as a step backward.

When you look at the game's crowded scenes, like the busy beach in the first trailer, it's easy to see how hard it is to keep 60fps. Rockstar may have to compromise on some graphics details to keep things running smoothly, which may not please everyone.

But that's not all. Obbe also said one thing about the future of the series: he said that making GTA 7 will cost less than making GTA 6. How? Smart computers that can learn. He wants AI to generate characters and dialogue for cutscenes, which would reduce the expensive work of art and animation. This could significantly reduce development time and make it easier for Rockstar staff to handle the notoriously busy periods they've experienced.

At least ten years will pass before GTA 7 comes out, but GTA 6 already shows how AI could change the way games are made. For now, gamers will have to wait and see if Rockstar can make the next GTA look amazing and play easily.
