Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is making its way to the PC, but Spider-Man fans can already have a taste of the game's best suits. While Marvel Rivals broke all previous player count records, Marvel Entertainment, publisher of the game, has now announced that they will bring in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Suit to Marvel Rivals. Since Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is getting a PC release on January 30th, the developer of Marvel Rivals is adding the Advanced Suit 2.0 during Marvel's Spider-Man 2's PC release.
The addition of Advanced Suit 2.0, however, isn't a new character; it's just another example of the game's ongoing addition of new content. Marvel Rivals has been thriving, with a large player base and increasing numbers. Even though it's not unusual for most good hero shooter games, this number typically experiences a reduction over time. That, however, hasn't been the case for Marvel Rivals so far. After the new cast of Marvel Rivals characters, including Fantastic Four, X-Men, Ultron, and a few more, were leaked, NetEase Games has recently announced that new heroes will be launched every month and a half to keep the game fresh and entertaining.
The latest announcement stated that the Advanced Suit 2.0 combines Otto Octavius' science and Peter Parker's intelligence. It is designed for severe encounters and represents Spider-Man's tenacity and determination as a superhero. The outfit was regarded as legendary, highlighting that finding equilibrium is a process rather than a destination. It will be available for gamers to unlock in-store beginning January 30th, allowing fans to get into the action.
It seems that this collaboration with Insomniac Games for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and its PC release are perfectly timed, given that other major PlayStation titles, such as Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, are also making their way to PC. The Advanced Suit 2.0 looks fantastic and is one of my favorites in the game. The outfit's design fits perfectly with Marvel Rivals' art style and attention to detail. Besides, it's always nice to play a hero shooter that has fun gameplay loops and visually appealing outfits.
On the contrary, there has been considerable criticism of the cost of purchasing suits or costumes in Marvel Rivals. Players who want to avoid grinding for in-game currency must pay a large sum of money to purchase specific things or packs. While this may be a drawback, it's understandable that the developers must generate some sort of revenue since the game is free-to-play, and this suit will most certainly create a significant profit from gamers who opt to buy it outright.
The Advanced Suit 2.0 adds another reason for Spider-man fans to engage with the game, and the thrill it generates may entice lapsed gamers to return. Despite minor critiques, Marvel Rivals is continually performing well, with partnerships, new characters, and upgrades all appealing to the community. Fans love the game's direction, with regular upgrades and surprises ensuring it will be a great title by late 2025. It continues to set itself apart by exceeding its expectations, and the developers' efforts are certainly paying off.
