Nintendo NX Revealed, Called Nintendo Switch
Returning to cartridges and bridging together portable and home gaming

Nintendo has finally revealed the mysterious NX console. Called the Nintendo Switch this portable/home console comes with detachable controllers and a monitor that can be used either for portable gaming or for home on your television.
The commercial showcases the system's portability, allowing gamers to take the system on the go. Highlighted were the system's monitor, detachable controllers, charging base with two USB slots, and cartridge based gaming slot. The controllers can be operated by two players, allowing for split screen multiplayer and a dedicated controller option, similar to the Controller Pro, can be used.
Showcased were The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Mario Kart 8, and a brand new Super Mario game.
Best of all gamers with multiple Switch systems can play locally multiplayer games. Splatoon was shown taking advantage of this feature.
Nintendo Switch launches March 2017 along with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
